Photography, a fine art?!
"Ha! I could be a photographer! All you have to do is point and shoot, so why's it an art? huh?"
Well, punk, theres more to photography than just that, don't ya know. The art comes in the darkroom. Everything you do in a darkroom is art. What filter you use, how you handle your enlarger, enhancing, cropping, even putting it through the chemicals, is an art. Ths is why digital photography is taking away the art of photography. Sure, I love technology, I made this site, didn't I? But if you want to be an artistic photographer, you've gotta know your way around a darkroom. This is why all the photographs on this website are developped in a dark room, unless otherwise noted.
